Xin Guobin, a member of the Party Group and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, pointed out that the energy consumption of industrial added value per unit of Enterprises above the scale is expected to decrease by 15.6% in 2016-2019, and the target of industrial energy-saving progress in the 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-2020) will be achieved.
Xin Guobin said that since 2016, nearly 20000 energy-saving supervision teams have been fully mobilized nationwide, and more than 20000 high-energy-consuming enterprises have been monitored, and 19 industries have been fully covered by energy-saving supervision, including iron and steel, ferroalloy in metallurgy industry, copper, aluminum, lead, zinc, magnesium and polysilicon in nonferrous metal industry, cement, plate glass and ceramics in building material industry, ethylene, synthetic ammonia, urea, calcium carbide, coking, caustic soda and phosphorus chemical industry in petrochemical industry and paper making industry.
